MEDIUM DJEMBE DRUM (HEAD 8", HEIGHT 18-24") - GHANA, AFRICA Drums are a traditional African musicalinstrument, and this entire instrument is handmade. The drum surface isanimal hide/skin, and the base is made of sturdy carved wood encircledwith plain or braided rope. Some have designs etched into the base aswell as fabric trim along the top. These drums are popular in reggaeand other cultural musical productions. In West Africa, nearly allceremonies are accompanied by the timeless and distinctive melody ofdrums. Approx. 18"- 24" tall,  8" Dia. Made in Ghana.
