The metal shaving animals and bottletop products are two lines that aremade almost entirely of recycled materials. Because most sodas inZimbabwe are still sold in glass bottles, bottletops are abundant andlitter the streets. Richard Robert and other artists use this potentialwaste to create colorful totes and coasters that are functional andgreat for the planet! Amos Guta, a former blacksmith, developed theidea for recycled metal shaving animals, and he continues to createthem now. Both of these lines are well-loved by our customers. Thissection also includes small birds created from found seedpods (inZimbabwe) and Peltrina products, which are made in Uruguay of recycledmetals (this is our only non-African product, but well worth having alook at!).
